A 10-year parts warranty is standard with Carrier’s residential systems and most of their furnaces carry a Lifetime warranty on the heat exchangers.

Look for the AFUE rating and SEER rating on heating/cooling equipment. The higher the number, the better. Todays’ standards for high efficiency heating on gas furnaces are 95% or higher. For cooling, it’s 16 SEER or higher.

Carrier also offers factory rebates on qualifying equipment up to $ 1,650. And, CenterPoint Energy is offering energy credits as well. Combined with CenterPoint credits, you can save over $2000 on a new installation!
